Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, located in the popular Christchurch suburb of Aidanfield, enjoys stunning views of the Port Hills and Southern Alps and offers the very best in continuum of care.
Set amoungst beautifully landscaped gardens, our care centre caters for resthome, hospital and dementia level residents. We also offer respite and short-term care ranging from one day to several weeks. Our resthome and hospital rooms surpass industry standard, each with an ensuite, heating, television and either garden, courtyard or atrium views. Our nurses are caring and professional and where possible we try to ensure residents receive care from the same staff each day. There is always something happening at Anthony Wilding, including guest entertainers, planned trips, pamper sessions, arts & crafts, movie screenings and games. We also organise fun themed events such as Halloween, Melbourne Cup Day, Show Week and Christmas events.
Anthony Wilding has a purpose built dementia care facility with specialised staff who maintain the safety and dignity of our residents at all times. The centre is warm, light and homely and residents are able to move freely within secure indoor and outdoor areas while still being monitored unobtrusively by staff. There is also a busy activities programme, tailored specifically for our dementia residents.
